How do I clean my SMARTBoard?
Erase dry-erase ink from the writing surface as soon as possible. The longer dry-erase ink remains, the more difficult it is to remove.
- Before using a cleaner, remove excess dry-erase ink residue from the writing surface with a damp cloth.
- Use an alcohol-free household glass cleaner, such as Windex® glass cleaner, to clean the writing surface.
Clean it at regular intervals or whenever you notice that the dry-erase ink remains on the screen after erasing.
Do not use abrasive chemicals or cleaners on your interactive whiteboard.
IMPORTANT :
- Before you clean your SMART Board interactive whiteboard, shut down or disconnect the connected computer so that you don't scramble desktop icons or inadvertently start programs when you wipe the screen.
- To view dirt or streaks more easily, set your projector to standby (lamp off mode).

How is installation scheduled around my needs?
When you have contacted TecInteractive our engineers will schedule a site survey to a time that suits you. When the survey is complete, we will schedule the installation to have minimal disruption to you. We specialise in evening and weekend installations so that we can install the board into rooms that are used heavily during peak hours.
As a rule of thumb you should allow approx half a day (4 Hrs) for the installation of the board and projector.

We have a fresh approach to the implementation of SMARTBoards in your business. Following installation, we conduct a hand-over training session to show you how to use both the hardware and software, therefore giving you a better Return on Investment. This is included in the installation price.
