This is a replacement for the cable that runs from the computer to a 500 series SMARTBoard. The 500 series SMARTBoard can be identified by the round eraser on the left side of the pen tray and an RS-232 connection or serial port on the bottom of the board. The other end of the cable plugs into the computer via the USB port.
